Welcome to the Moose Jaw Police Service. The men and women of the Moose Jaw Police Service are an incredibly dedicated bunch of professionals who go that extra mile to keep our community safe. Our members take an oath of ethics that states we will, “serve the community to safeguard lives and property, to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the rights of all people to liberty, equality and justice”.
If you have a chance to interact with our officers or civilian staff, you will find there is something different. There is something special about our members almost reminiscent of an era gone by in policing. It is something we are extremely proud of.
It is an oath that means something to us as a service and is the foundation of our how we perform our duties to serve the community. We are committed to keeping our city beautiful and attractive. We strive to ensure the safety for people who choose to move to raise a family, to attend post-secondary education, to locate their business, or to visit our vibrant arts, theatre, sports and tourist attractions.
Whether you are a long time or new resident, an athlete who is here for a tournament at one of our many world class hockey, curling, football or soccer facilities, or one of the thousands of tourists who visit the city every year to see our many attractions – we are committed to keeping Moose Jaw safe.
