In the 24-hour period from 0700 hours on August 17 to 0700 hours on August 18, 2026, Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 51 calls for service.

Occurrences of Public Interest
The following is being released in the interest of public awareness:
MVA OVER – At approximately 7:28 p.m., police responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of the Manitoba Expressway, where a vehicle struck a tree. The vehicle sustained severe damage, estimated at $10,000 to $15,000 and was towed from the scene. The driver was the sole occupant and was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police also attended various calls for service, including concerns pertaining to vehicles, concerns regarding individual’s mental health and/or addictions, minor thefts, and general assistance calls.
