In the 72-hour period from 0700 hours on August 21 to 0700 hours on August 24, 2026, Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 149 calls for service.

 

Of these calls, the following were recorded:

  • Business checks: 17
  • Assist other agencies: 9
  • Well-being checks: 21
  • Failures to comply with court orders: 3
  • False/other 911 calls: 1

 

Police also executed warrants on two individuals during this period.

Occurrences of Public Interest

The following is being released in the interest of public awareness:

 

MVA OVER – At approximately 3:36 p.m. on Sunday August 23, police responded to reports of a single vehicle collision where a vehicle struck a business in the Civic Centre Plaza. Approximately $10,000 in damage was sustained. No injuries were reported. The vehicle did not require a tow truck, and the driver was not issued a ticket.

Police also attended various calls for service, including concerns pertaining to vehicles, concerns regarding individual’s mental health and/or addictions, minor thefts, and general assistance calls.
