In the 96-hour period from 0700 hours on August 7 to 0700 hours on August 11, 2026, Moose Jaw Police Service responded to 213 calls for service.

 

Of these calls, the following were recorded:

  • Business checks: 19
  • Assist other agencies: 13
  • Well-being checks: 27
  • Failures to comply with court orders: 3
  • False/other 911 calls: 2

Police also executed warrants on four individuals during this period.

Occurrences of Public Interest

The following is being released in the interest of public awareness:

MVA OVER – At approximately 8:39 p.m., on Sunday August 9, police responded to reports of a vehicle fleeing the scene following a collision which damaged utility infrastructure in the 800 block of Lillooet St W. The driver was issued two tickets and an estimated $10,000 in damages were sustained.

Police also attended various calls for service, including concerns pertaining to vehicles, concerns regarding individual’s mental health and/or addictions, minor thefts, and general assistance calls.
