 Function:

 Accountability:

The ASE Special Constable is accountable to the Supervisor in the Community/Strategic Services Division and the ASE Special Constable at the Moose Jaw Police Service.

 Primary Tasks:

Below is a non-exhaustive list of tasks:

-          Reviews all ASE photographs and evidence to ensure accuracy and confirm violations

-          Provides confirmation of violations to the Information Service Provider

-          Utilizes appropriate Moose Jaw Police Service records management systems to assist with the identification of vehicle owners and processing of ASE documents and Summary Offence Tickets

-          Enters data to create and record Offence Notices for violations.

-          Facilitates delivery of documents related to ASE enforcement

-          Completes investigations, collects evidence, lay charges, compile and submit reports, participate in prosecutions as necessary.

 

Position Competencies:

-          Prepare monthly quarterly and annual statistics as required.

-          Oversight of the Moose Jaw ASE operations
