Dangerous Driving Charges

Earlier this week, the Moose Jaw Police Service received several reports of dangerous driving in trailer court in the 1400 block of 9th Avenue Northeast.

The reports indicated that two individuals were speeding and maneuvering on motorcycles in a dangerous way that was endangering residents within the trailer court.

Police were able to apprehend one of the individuals. As a result, Police have charged one youth male with Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Obstructing a Police Officer. He also was issued several tickets under the Traffic Safety Act. Additionally, several charges are pending for another youth male.

Through the investigation, Police conducted a search warrant of a residence within the trailer court and seized two motorcycles.

The MJPS does recognize that this type of activity is a concern within the city, and encourages residents to call the Police if they witness actions of this nature.
