The Moose Jaw Trespass Prevention Program (MJTPP) is a public safety initiative that allows Moose Jaw Police Officers to remove Trespass to Property Act violators from commercial properties. This can be done without the need for a call-for-service or direct involvement from an owner or property representative after hours. This program would be in effect during after-hours of the business or when the property is vacant.
The nature of the MJTPP is to take proactive enforcement when dealing with trespassers and their related behaviours.
The MJTPP pilot project has completed and now now is being expanded to the rest of Moose Jaw. Commercial properties outside of the previously set perimeter can now register for the program. Signing up for this program does not guarantee that police are monitoring your property for you at all times.
Please note: The MJTPP is not available to private residential properties.
To apply for the MJTPP please fill out the registration form below and click “Submit”.
Businesses can also download the authorization form HERE, fill out, and submit by email to CSS@mjpolice.ca or in-person at 21 Fairford Street West.
Below is a detailed description of how the MJTPP works:

This program does not apply to businesses when open or occupied by staff. During normal business hours of the commercial business or property, the representative is required to call the Police at 306-694-7600 or in the case of an emergency dial 9-1-1.
