If you would like to make an access request to the Moose Jaw Police Service, it must be in writing. The Moose Jaw Police Service will accept any written request, however it is recommended to use the Information Request Form provided either at the MJPS Headquarters, or from here:

Submissions must include:

• Your name
• Your current address
• A telephone number, or email address, that you can be reached at during the day
• A $20.00 Application Fee

When requesting your personal information, you will be required to produce one piece of valid (non-expired) government-issued photo identification at the MJPS when submitting the application form, such as a driver’s licence or a passport, to verify your identity.

If you are requesting the personal information of another individual, you are required to provide proof that you have authority or written expressed consent to receive the information you are requesting.

The Moose Jaw Police Service charges fees in accordance with The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Amendment Act, to cover costs of processing your Access to Information request. Fee estimates will be provided before processing your requests, for charges over $100.

The Moose Jaw Police Service may request a 50% deposit of the estimated fees prior to processing your request, with the remaining 50% payable on completion.
